The Meloding DPO Office and Meloding Liquor Outlets have once again proven their commitment to giving back to the community.

On Thursday 12 February these units, for the third time, distributed essential items to struggling families, making a tangible difference in their lives.

The initiative, which started in December 2024, has seen the outlets give back to the community in various ways. They have provided food parcels to families in need, supported local events, and shown unwavering dedication to uplifting the community.

“They’ve gone above and beyond in their efforts to support local families. From providing school clothing to ensuring families have food on the table, their contributions have been felt far and wide,” says Lt Col Thabo Covane, police spokesperson for the Free State police.

Covane says the traders and staff involved in this initiative deserve massive applause for their tireless efforts in making a positive impact.

“Their commitment to giving back is truly inspiring and sets an example for others to follow. The community has benefited greatly from this initiative, and it’s clear that the Meloding DPO Office and Meloding Liquour Outlets are committed to continuing their support. We salute their efforts and look forward to seeing more good work from them,” he says.
