A firearm stolen in Muldersdrift, Krugersdorp during a house robbery in 2021, was recovered hidden in a shack in Hani Park, Bronville. Members of Welkom POP Reaction Team and Thabong Crime Intelligence discovered the Truvelo riffle hidden in the ceiling of the shack on Tuesday 29 March. The owner of the shack has not been seen since August 2021, and a manhunt continues for him.
