Riders of the BRS Equestrian Centre competed in the South African National Equestrian Schools League (Sanesa) National Championship, held at Kyalami from 30 September to 4 October. The team comprised 13 riders, 16 horses, 6 grooms and their coach, Belinda Basson. They attained 4 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals. They achieved 21 first places, 9 second places, 9 third places and 13 fourth places. A total of 15 top ten places in South Africa were achieved.
