Rethabile Mika of the Lephola Secondary School in Thabong was one of the top 100 learners who were invited to the 2023 matriculant well-done function in Bloemfontein. She attained seven distinctions, “despite all the odds she had against her,” says Katlego Shuping, spokesperson for the school.
