Bethel Mahadela, born and bred in Thabong, Welkom, is a finalist in the Miss Curvylicious SA beauty pageant. Bethel is a simple local girl with a passion to be a plus-size model, and to inspire the upcoming young women in her community. “I love doing charity work, and my dream is to be the biggest humanitarian ambassador or a missionary in South Africa. Discovering your purpose and living in accordance to it can give you peace and success. Being part of Miss Curvylicious SA is a dream come true, and I could not have done it without the love and support of my loved ones, which is my community,” she says.
