Students of the Ring Contact Fighting Arts (RCFA) Bhubezi Fight Club roared like indomitable lions at the Best Of The Best Millennium Tournament held in Vereeninging on 2 September.

The three students who competed all took first place in their fights.

Siyabonga Khumalo had an impressive first fight, winning by a knockout in the first round.

Oratilwe Motsamai won by a technical knockout in the second round. He still holds the club record for the quickest knockout of under 30 seconds. The third fighter, Gofaone Sebati, also gave a good performance and showed dominance with her fight.

Sensei Joe Gladstone Ralejoe, the club’s head instructor, served as an official judge at the tournament.

“This was a great opportunity for our fighters to start with their development as full contact fighters. It is still early days, but the experience and confidence gained will go a long way for us,” he shared.
