The Gr. 2 learners of the Reitzpark Primary School in Welkom visited the Blessings Animal Shelter on 10 May. Kingsley Nkala works at the shelter and told the children all about taking care of pets and other animals. Sharlize van der Merwe showed the excited learners around. The school made a donation of R3 000 to Blessings, with the learners also given the opportunity to make a donation themselves.
