Bethel Mahadela (31) from Thabong, Welkom, is a single parent of two children. She is also a Miss South Africa Plus World delegate for the term 2021-’22. Mahadela stands for charity and woman empowerment. “I believe in the words: It takes a village to raise a child. If I find myself in a leading position, I prefer being a servant leader, where I serve as a mother, a sister, a daughter and a friend in my community. I believe you don’t have to speak a thousand words, but the life you live as an individual tells a story. I want to tell the story of unconditional love, care, respect, compassion and victory, no matter how difficult life circumstances are,” she says.
