Regular blood donor, and also avid community worker, Joy Makhathe, has been donating blood since 2001.

He encourages Goldfielders to donate blood, as there is currently a serious need.

“I continuously help community members in need in the Goldfields and have already managed to help more than 55 families, not only with food parcels, but also rebuilding homes and with funeral arrangements where needed,” says Makhathe.
