The Youth Citizen Action Programme (YCAP) team of the Welkom Technical High School represented the Free State at the national YCAP championships, which took place from 20 to 22 October in Sandton. The boys’ team obtained a second position nationally. The YCAP team mostly consists of the school’s debaters who hold numerous achievements for 2023.
