The Mara-A-Basotho half marathon, in collaboration with Real Lion Athletics Club wil be held at the Goudveld Multisport clubhouse in Disa Street, Welkom. The entry fees for the race are R180 for the 21km, R100 for the 10km and the R50 for the 5km. The 21km race starts at 08:00, with the 10km and the 5km events at 08:15.

The Morning Star Children’s Centre’s annual general meeting is held at the centre’s premises in the Kopano Complex in Meulen Street. The meeting will start at 18:00 and is open to all interested parties.

Die opvoering Ouma is op pad vind by die Goudveld-Hoërskool in Welkom plaas. Daar is ‘n 13 jaar ouderdomsbeperking. Dit begin om 18:30 en kaartjies kos R250 elk wat ‘n ete insluit. Daar sal ‘n kurkfooi van R50 wees wat betaalbaar by die deur is.
