Various units of the SAPS visited the Nanabolela Secondary School in Thabong to present a crime awareness campaign to the learners. There was much excitement, especially when the police helicopter landed in the field next to the school. The theme of the day was “The Science Behind Policing: Operation Vala Umgodi”. The SAPS highlighted the five pillars of policing, including crime intelligence and analysis, as well as proactive and crime combat.
