The Welkom Technical High School (THS) staff ended the third term off with a special lunch on 29 September. The school is known for diversity and wanted to celebrate different backgrounds and cultures with an event themed “Proudly South African Heritage”. Each staff member was requested to dress in a manner that represented their culture so that they could celebrate their differences – and also to show respect for and learn about other cultures.
