On 27 October, the Reformed Church held a prayer service in Thabong. This was in commemoration of the reformation of the church on 31 October 1517. The service was attended by the congregations of the Emmanuel Reformed Church, Khauhelo Reformed Church, and the Ebenezer Uniting Reformed Church. The service was led by Rev. Simon Jankie Mokoena (left), who read from Ezekiel 37:18, 2 Corinthians 5:17, and Jeremiah 31:33. Rev. Gent Tseko Lekoala (middle) led the Holy Communion, and Rev. Michael Mokake Mangojane (right) read aloud the history of the reformation. The Reformed Church’s slogans are “Sola Gratia – Sola Scriptura”. Photo: Supplied
