A 28-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of her 41-year-old boyfriend during a domestic dispute at a Tikwana tavern early Saturday morning.
Police responded to reports of a stabbing at approximately 01:10 on November 22, after officers on patrol duty were alerted to the incident.

Foreign national stabbed
Police discovered a foreign national male lying near the tavern gate in a pool of blood. He was declared dead from his injuries. According to police information gathered at the scene, the couple had been involved in an argument inside the tavern before moving outside, where the dispute allegedly escalated into physical violence.

Broken beer bottle
It is alleged that the woman broke a beer bottle and used it to stab her boyfriend in his left shoulder. The injury proved fatal. The broken beer bottle has been confiscated by police as evidence. The woman remains in police custody while investigations continue. Police investigations are ongoing.
