The 14th annual Clivia Show will be hosted by the Northern Free State (NFS) Clivia Club on Saturday, 13 September. The show will be held at the NG Moeder Gemeente Church Hall, on the corner of Stateway and Ararat Road.
Judging of the clivias will take place on Friday, 12 September, and the show will be open to the public on Saturday from 08:30 to 16:00 for viewing and sales.

The NFS Club is offering all clivia enthusiasts from the public the opportunity of showing their beautiful plants. If you believe that you have a winning bloom, please bring your cut flower in water or a potted plant to the church hall on Saturday morning before 10:00. The winner will be announced at the end of the afternoon. Please make sure that the flower or plant is marked clearly with your telephone details − you may well become the Community Clivia Winner.
People can bring their family and enjoy this beautiful, indigenous plant, often referred to as the “Aristocrat of Horticulture,” in all its magnificence.
The NFS Clivia Club is open for membership. At present, they have 28 members, and they meet quarterly. The club was formed 18 years ago and started with six members.
