The Seqhobong Secondary School located in Kutlwanong, K6, boasts with Morolong Rethabile, a Gr. 9 learner at the school who campaigned or school safety at the Lejweleputswa Education District on 17 June, where she gave a remarkable speech against bullying in schools. She was elected as an RCL secretary by her fellow school mates at the beginning of this year, and in February, Morolong was elected as the deputy secretary of the RCL Lejweleputswa District. She further went on to represent her school in Randburg where she rubbed shoulders with the MEC of Education, Dr Mamiki Maboya and the minister of Education, Siviwe Gwarube. ” It is because of young people like Rethabile that we believe that the future of our South African youth is truly bright,” says Thabo Lukhele, the principal of Seqhobong Secondary School.
