Members of the Muslim community in Bronville have opened their hearts, and serve soup and porridge to the less fortunate four days of the week. On Mondays and Wednesdays they serve soup, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays they serve porridge from their premises at 618 Garden Street in Bronville. This is the second year that the outreach is being implemented. Children, the unemployed, and the elderly benefit from this programme. The women who run the soup kitchen also sell koesisters and samoosas to raise funds for their endeavours.
