THE Uitenhage and Despatch District Zone U/12 team participated in the U/12 Eastern Province Cricket Festival this past weekend and finished fourth out of the eight districts.
The results are as follows:
On day one (40-over game) Uitenhage played against Kouga District at Westering High School and Uitenhage won by 4 wickets.
On day two (50-over game) Uitenhage played against Albany District at Lorraine Primary and lost by 160 runs.
Day three (20-over game) the Uitenhage team played against PE Zone 3 and lost by 8 wickets.
