DESPATCH – SAPS Despatch are appealing to anyone who may have more information on the murder of a female victim, Yandiswa Ngesi (32), in Despatch to contact the investigating officer of the case.

SAPS spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge said that according to the report, it is alleged that on Sunday, 26 July at about 08:00, the son of the deceased went to visit the deceased at her home in Tobile Busakwe Street, Khayamnandi, Despatch.

“He allegedly found the front door unlocked and on entering the house, he found her body (with gunshot wounds) on the bedroom floor,” he said. “SAPS Despatch was then alerted.”

Beetge added that the preliminary investigation indicates that she was murdered between 25 July at about 19:00 and 26 July at 08:00.

“The motive for the murder is being investigated,” he said. “A murder case was opened and is being investigated by SAPS Despatch.”
