The KwaNobuhle Sport Arts & Culture Task Team is hosting a community meeting for all sports codes, recreation, arts and culture organisations.
This comprehensive gathering is scheduled to take place on July 24 at 15:00 at the Love Life Youth Centre, in KwaNobuhle. The event is being coordinated by Kaiser Khala, who serves as the coordinator for the task team.
The meeting represents a significant initiative to bring together various stakeholders from the sports, recreation, arts and culture sectors within the KwaNobuhle community.
According to the event coordinator, Khala, the community is actively preparing for this crucial sports forum meeting, with preliminary discussions and interviews being conducted beforehand to ensure proper organisation.
“There appears to be significant community interest and engagement, with various clubs and team members being encouraged to attend. The message indicates that this meeting is particularly important for establishing the sports forum structure and addressing issues within the local sports community,” he said.
The meeting will follow a structured agenda that includes an opening and welcome session, the election of a new KwaNobuhle sport forum, discussions on the way forward for the community’s sports and cultural development, and concluding with a vote of thanks.
“This is a foundational meeting aimed at establishing the organisational framework for sports and cultural activities in the area,” Khala said.
He added, “There is active community mobilisation taking place, with organisers conducting preparatory work and ensuring that all relevant sports clubs and cultural organisations are aware of and prepared for the meeting.
“The emphasis on attendance and participation highlights the importance of this gathering for the future of sports and culture in KwaNobuhle.”
