Recently, Daniel Pienaar Technical High School hosted a dinner that was a double celebration. The school received the FIA President’s Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Award for their outstanding commitment to implementing diverse and inclusive practices and activities that foster equitable, sustainable, and measurable change. Additionally, the event honoured nine of South Africa’s racing legends, many of whom hail from the Eastern Cape. Daniel Pienaar THS is the only technical high school in South Africa to offer motorsport as a school sport.
