Women from non-profit company Coin Care visited Soneike High School on Friday 24 July to facilitate a vision board workshop for Grade 11 learners.

“The session is part of our ‘You Are Enough’ youth empowerment initiative, encouraging learners to dream big, set goals and believe in their potential,” said Cheryl Johnson, director of Coin Care.

Each learner created a personal vision board using images cut from magazines. A vision board is a visual tool that helps clarify, focus on and maintain sight of life goals and aspirations.

Guidance

Coin Care initially offered vision board sessions to small businesses but recognised that learners could benefit from the same guidance, particularly when navigating decisions about their future career paths.

Through the workshops at schools, they hope to bring the youth clarity, direction and confidence.

The learners enjoyed the interactive session and were treated to a snack pack courtesy of Coin Care afterwards.
