On Monday evening Metro Police officers were alerted to a vehicle linked to the shooting incident just after 19:00, operating in the Khayelitsha area, said Ruth Solomons, spokesperson. They later spotted the vehicle traveling on Mew Way and conducted a traffic stop, she said. “During the search of the vehicle, the officers recovered a revolver and 37 rounds of ammunition,” Solomons said.
