The Mark Jeneker Foundation began its holiday programme by taking a group of children to the Zeitz Mocaa art museum at the V&A Waterfront.
The children took part in an art workshop where they were taught a range of skills.

Young talent recognised
Eight-year-old Jerray Ficks, a pupil at Spine View Primary School, produced artwork that impressed Zeitz Mocaa staff. The museum invited him to return for workshops at any time, to help him develop further in the art world.
Jerray has attended the foundation’s Saturday art classes since they began. His mother said he has been doing better in his artwork since joining the classes.
Jerray said he wants to become a famous artist oneday.
Jeneker said there are still many children who need to join the Saturday art classes, so that more doors can be opened for them as well.
