The City of Cape Town’s Community, Arts, and Culture Development Department’s Region 1 Branch hosted an outreach event at Bothasig Community Hall today, Friday 23 October, as part of the annual commemoration of World Homeless Day.
World Homeless Day is observed on 10 October each year. Region 1, which serves the City’s northern area, used the occasion to create awareness around homelessness, promote dignity and inclusion, and connect rough sleepers with vital resources and opportunities available within the community.
