The Bothasig Community Policing Forum (CPF), along with the Tygerberg Sub-district Youth Desk and Bosmansdam High School, celebrated Youth Day in a wonderful display of community spirit and youth empowerment on Tuesday 16 June, the CPF said.

The day included an energetic fun run and walk as well as other exciting youth activities and competitions, they said, adding that the day showcased the talent, energy and potential of young people.

The CPF thanked the Community in Blue members and Precinct Response, a private security company, for their support and dedication in ensuring a safe and successful event.

The Youth Day event was sponsored by Nando’s. The CPF also thanked their volunteers, partners, participants and supporters who made the day possible.

“Our youth are our future, together, we will continue to uplift, guide and empower the next generation,” the CPF said in a statement online.
