Okay, I’ll admit it. I judged this one hard before I even opened it. A sticker book? For adults? I picked this up half-expecting to feel like I’d accidentally wandered into the children’s’ section at the bookshop.
Spoiler. I was very, very wrong.
So, what even is this 3D mini thing? While they were traditionally marketed to kids, adults have widely adopted them as a creative, stress-relieving hobby.
Arriving on the shelves on 27 May, Mini Home Sweet & Cozy Sticker Book for all ages by Marc Ordiali gives you 10 tiny, ridiculously charming miniature room scenes, like cosy bedrooms, bubble-filled bathrooms and kitchen nooks along with 300 transparent repositionable stickers to fill them up.
There’s no drawing, no complicated crafting, no talent required whatsoever. You just place stickers. Match them to the scene. Layer them up. Done. Sounds almost too simple, right? But here’s the thing though, it’s weirdly addictive.
I sat down “just to try a page” one Tuesday evening after an awful day. Thirty minutes later I had fully furnished a miniature flower shop with tiny potted plants, little wooden shelves packed with flowers, and adorable little animals.
‘Worldwide craze’
There’s something almost meditative about it. You’re not making any big decisions, you’re not staring at a screen, you’re not doom-scrolling, you’re just picking up a little sticker of a lamp and going, “yes, that goes there.” And it is, genuinely, deeply satisfying in a way that’s hard to explain without sounding a bit unhinged.
Marc Ordiali’s illustrations kind of like looking at a dollhouse from a perfect angle. In the one I did, the scenes have names like The Bakery, The Cycle shop and so on. And each one comes with a sample image of the completed scene so you’re never lost or overwhelmed. Apparently, I’m not alone in losing my mind over this.

Turns out this whole “miniature sticker scene” thing is a bit of a worldwide craze right now for children and adults alike, and once you actually get your hands on one of these books, it’s not hard to see why. In a world where everything feels loud and fast and a bit too much, there’s something special about sitting down with something this small and this calm.
