A man died in an horrific accident on the N1 outside
Kraaifontein near Joostenberg Vlakte on Friday morning (1 September).
Resq Medix was on the scene at about 03:30 this morning,
where they responded to a serious motor vehicle collision involving one car,
direction Cape Town.
When medics arrived on the scene they found that a car had
collided with a concrete wall on the highway.
According to their Facebook page, one patient was declared
dead on arrival by emergency services.
Captain FC Van Wyk, a provincial police spokesperson, said
they can confirm the accident and that it has been reported at Kraaifontein
police.
Van Wyk says a 44-year-old man was fatally injured in this
incident and a culpable homicide case was registered for investigation.
