A woman died on Thursday morning, 28 December in Bonteheuwel after being hit by a car on Jakes Gerwel Drive at around 08:45.
Provincial police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk says a case of culpable homicide is currently being investigated by police.
Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson, Theo Layne, says their paramedics arrived on the scene around 08:55 and declared the woman dead on the scene.
“The case was handed over the police for further investigation.”
