Nine people were injured in an accident on Thursday (25
October) after the bakkie they were travelling in rolled off Tygerberg Road in
Durbanville, ER24 said.
Paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after 08:00 and
found the bakkie upright on the side of the road.
“The workers that had been on the back of the vehicle were
found seated on the side of the road. Paramedics assessed the patients and
found that they had sustained minor to moderate injuries,” ER24 spokesperson,
Russel Meiring said.
All patients were treated for their injuries at the scene
and transported to Kraaifontein Day Hospital for further medical assistance.
