Eskom customers in various parts of the Western Cape are currently without electricity supply due to power supply interruptions. Recent inclement weather conditions have resulted in network faults and infrastructure damage in certain locations.
The following areas are impacted: Delft South, Eerste River, including, Eerste River Hospital, parts of Khayelitsha (Zwezwe, Kuyasa, Mkhaza), Klawer, Vredendal, Doornbaai and surrounding farms.
Eskom urges all residents to treat all electrical infrastructure as live. The state-owned electricity provider apologises for the inconvenience caused and appeals to customers for patience while restoration efforts are underway during these challenging weather conditions.
