Experience the wonder of a magical Easter at the Easter market at Andries Olivier Durbanville Quadriplegic Centre on Saturday 11 April.
The market and book sale is being presented at the centre at 18 Hafele Street from 09:00 to 14:00.

Whether you are interested in finding your next exciting read, unique arts, crafts, plants or something yummy to eat, there truly is something for everyone.
“Best of all, every cent raised goes towards supporting the residents and the centre. Come for the treasures, stay for the eats, and leave knowing you made a real difference in your community,” Allen Petersen, one of the organisers, invites.
Handwoven baskets
Crafts such as handmade jewellery, printed T-shirts, hand-painted and crocheted hats, as well as handwoven baskets will be on sale.
Food stalls will sell boerewors rolls, pies, quiches, pancakes, jaffles, sweets, fudge, burgers, homemade jam and much more. “A variety of R5 books will be available. Beyond the stalls, book lovers can get lost in our curated bookstore with our priced books, where we have quality reads at unbeatable prices — from cookbooks and biographies to Afrikaans gems, children’s adventures and South African titles. Don’t miss our collector’s corner for truly rare and special editions,” Petersen says.
“Our ‘Laugh for R1’ special is still on! Hilarious cartoons and funnies will be sold for just R1 each.”

Plants will also be sold at reasonable prices.
Anyone interested in showcasing their products at the market, can secure a stall at R200 per stall.
