Two undisputed world titles won at RCFA World Kickboxing Championships

After 15 years of relentless discipline, sacrifice, and quiet refinement, Keagan Smith has ascended beyond achievement into legacy – where the pursuit of greatness yields to its embodiment.

At the RCFA World Kickboxing Championships, held at Emerald Resort and Casino in Vander-bijlpark from 3 to 5 April, Smith did not merely stand among the world’s best – he rose above them. In a performance marked by precision, composure, and unyielding will, he claimed two undisputed world titles, asserting his place among the elite with undeniable authority.

Smith, a member of the South Africa Presidential Team swooped the Semi Contact Low Kicks 18-40 years, 70.0-74.9kg Open and the Semi Contact Sport Boxing 19-25 years 71.0-79.5kg world titles at the RCFAI Open World Championships 2026. He came second in the Mill.46 Millennium 18-40 years, 74.4-79.5kg.

Such a moment is never born in isolation. In 2023, he turned his focus to boxing – a new arena, but the same unbreakable spirit. Within the Free State, he carved out dominance with remarkable speed, securing four distinguished honours: provincial colours, Lejweleputswa colours, a boxing league championship, and the revered OR Tambo Games title. Each accolade became not a destination, but a declaration – of intent, of hunger, of destiny unfolding.

In 2025, his return to kickboxing was not a step back, but a higher calling. He earned Free State provincial colours through the RCFA and, in October of that same year, was bestowed with South African President’s Colours in two divisions. In that defining period, he also secured two South African titles – thereby standing as an undisputed champion at national level, a rare and formidable distinction.

And then came April 2026 – the moment where years of unseen effort found their voice. With a calm forged in adversity and a spirit tempered by sacrifice, Smith entered the global arena and emerged not only victorious, but transcendent – a double world champion; undisputed, unshaken and unforgettable.
