CAPE TOWN – A truck driver escaped serious injuries when the container truck he was driving overturned on the N1 R300 off-ramp in Belville.
Driving in the direction of Paarl, the incident occurred at approximately 21:25 on Friday 30 January, when the driver lost control of his vehicle, causing it to overturn as he entered the off-ramp. According to information obtained by TygerBurger, the container on the truck was empty.
Emergency services responded swiftly to the scene, where paramedics of Titanium Securitas treated the driver for facial injuries before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment. The driver is currently in a stable condition.
