CAPE TOWN – Milnerton police are investigating a triple murder following a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 22:30 last night (Saturday, 21 February) at Freedom Way in Joe Slovo, Milnerton.
Provincial police spokesperson Col Andre Traut said upon arrival at the scene, the officers discovered a silver Toyota Avanza with multiple bullet holes.
He said inside the vehicle were the bodies of two adult females who were declared deceased at the scene. A few metres away, the body of a 36-year-old male was also found.
“According to information provided by a family member, the deceased male was previously involved in the taxi industry and one of the female victims was reportedly his girlfriend. The motive for the attack is unknown at this stage, and the suspects are yet to be apprehended,” said Traut.
He stated that the case has been assigned to detectives from the provincial Serious and Violent Crime Unit for further investigation.
