In a separate incident, a 36-year-old woman was apprehended for drug dealing at a raid at her residence in Covid informal settlement, located next to Maroela Street. The suspect was found in possession of 23 sachets of tik, three Mandrax tablets, and R1 290 in cash believed to be proceeds from illegal drug transactions.

A third arrest saw a 35-year-old man detained for drug possession after officers discovered two sachets of tik during a routine stop and search operation. The operation continued with a targeted search at the home of a 26-year-old male suspected of drug-related activities in Sojolo Street. During the thorough search of the premises, officers uncovered 17 sachets of cocaine, leading to his immediate arrest for drug possession.

The final arrest involved another 26-year-old man who was detained for possession of a dangerous weapon in La Belehem Street, Kraaifontein. Police discovered an okapi knife in his possession during a random stop and search procedure.
