EKURHULENI – A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the possession of military explosives in Malvern East, Ekurhuleni District, on Friday.
The arrest was made after members of the Anti-Gang Unit received information regarding a man who was allegedly in possession of explosives.
Police raided the suspect’s house, where they discovered him with the military explosives.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Germiston Magistrate Court, where he will face charges of possession of military explosives.
The police have not released further details about the nature of the explosives or the circumstances surrounding their discovery.
