HUMANSDORP – Police in Humansdorp are investigating a case of murder and house robbery after a smallholding outside Humansdorp was targeted today (Tuesday 27 January).
According to police spokesperson Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli, police were summoned to a complaint of robbery at a farm along the R102 about 01:30.
“At the scene, police found the lifeless body of a 60-year-old man with open wounds,” said Nkohli.
He added that the identity of the deceased is being withheld until a formal identification process is concluded.
Nkohli said police are urging anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact the investigating officer, Detective-Captain Sheldon Smit, on 071 352 4623.
