SELOSESHA – A man (38) was arrested with Mandrax tablets worth more than R53 000 during a roadblock operation on the N8 road near Serwalo in Selosesha.
On Thursday, 28 August, at about 10:00, a team of dedicated members of the Selosesha Crime Prevention unit, Public Order Police (POP), Boithuso Police Station as well as the Thaba Nchu Police Station were manning a roadblock on the N8. They stopped and searched a white Iveco taxi. During the search, police found a male passenger in possession of 1 346 Mandrax tablets.
A case of possession of drugs was opened.
The white taxi was travelling from Thaba Nchu to Botshabelo. Investigations are underway.
