Pianist and poet Lara Kirsten will perform at Die Bôrdienghuis Theatre in Wellington on Saturday 27 May.
The programme will consist of a sunny celebration of music that encapsulates merriment and conviviality (and a bit of mischief). The programme is centred on one of the sunniest of musical forms – the waltz. Some highlights to expect – the rousing “Grande Valse Brillante” by Chopin, the rollicking “Root Beer Rag” by Billy Joel and Katherine Cordova’s transcription of Jacob Lawson’s shimmering hit song “Golden Hour”. A programme that promises to delight both young and old.
The show starts at 19:00 and wine and pizza will be on sale from 17:00.
Tickets cost R120 per person and can be booked with Jeanine on 061 156 5386.
