Paarl’s reputation as a hub for industrial growth, innovation, and community continues to strengthen with the arrival of a powerful new player.

Seartec, one of South Africa’s leading office automation and print solutions providers, has officially launched its new Winelands Branch and Experience Centre in Paarl.

They bring world-class print and workplace technology closer to local schools, businesses, and established brands.

This expansion represents more than a new location.

It signals a strategic investment in the Winelands region and reinforces Seartec’s long-term commitment to delivering premium print and office automation solutions.

A warm welcome, even under cloudy skies

The official launch took place on 7 May 2026, under overcast skies that did little to dampen the mood.

The ever-popular SadieCoffee Truck served warm coffee to guests on arrival, while Seartec-branded treats were enjoyed in the foyer.

Local Paarl FM personality Lynden Jaftha set the ambience with music and commentary to provide a vibrant and welcoming experience.

Just before the rain began to fall, Drakenstein Executive Mayor, Councillor Stephen Korabie, joined Seartec CEO Juan Laubscher to cut the ribbon.

In his address, Laubscher thanked Seartec’s customers, partners, and guests for their continued support.

The Drakenstein Sakekamer was specially acknowledged for its role in supporting local business growth.

He also extended a special mention to Strother Smith from Epson, who travelled from Johannesburg to attend the event in recognition of Seartec’s Platinum Partner status with Epson – an accolade Seartec has proudly earned for the second consecutive year.

Korabie welcomed Seartec to Paarl and wished the team continued success, referencing Drakenstein Municipality’s core values.

“We govern, we deliver services – that is the Drakenstein way,” he stated.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place amid much fanfare.

Innovation on display

Guests were invited to explore the new office space, design centre, and boardroom facilities.

They were introduced to Seartec’s latest technology offerings.

This included an interactive projector display set to transform the way classrooms and meetings are conducted.

The Paarl branch is designed as a hands-on experience centre where clients can see, touch, and evaluate innovative print and workplace solutions in action.

A new local team, ready to assist the Winelands Branch, is led by Branch Manager Adrian Venter, supported by a dedicated Paarl-based team ready to assist schools and businesses with tailored print and office automation solutions.

Guests didn’t leave empty-handed, receiving curated Seartec swag bags on departure, thoughtfully put together by Seartec’s marketing team. As one guest joked, the only thing missing was an umbrella!
