Paarl’s reputation as a hub for industrial growth, innovation, and community continues to strengthen with the arrival of a powerful new player.

One of South Africa’s leading office automation and print solutions providers, Seartec, has officially launched its new Winelands Branch and Experience Centre in Paarl.

Seartec brings world-class print and workplace technology closer to local schools, businesses, and established brands.

This expansion signals a strategic investment in the Winelands region and reinforces Seartec’s long-term commitment to delivering premium print and office automation solutions.

A warm welcome

The official launch took place on 17 April 2026 with the ever-popular SadieCoffee serving warm coffee to guests on arrival, while Seartec-branded treats were enjoyed in the foyer.

Paarl FM personality Lynden Jaftha set the ambience with music and commentary, which provided a vibrant and welcoming experience.

Drakenstein Executive Mayor, Councillor Stephen Korabie, joined Seartec CEO Juan Laubscher to cut the ribbon.

In his address, Laubscher thanked Seartec’s customers, partners, and guests for their continued support.

The Drakenstein Sakekamer was specially acknowledged for its role in supporting local business growth.

Seartec is proud to be a Platinum Partner of Epson, an accolade they have earned for the second consecutive year.

In recognition of this, a special mention was given to Epson’s Strother Smith, who travelled from Johannesburg to attend the event.

Korabie wished the Seartec team continued success, referencing Drakenstein Municipality’s core values.

“We govern, we deliver services – that is the Drakenstein way,” he stated.

Innovation on display

Guests were invited to explore the new office space, experience centre, and boardroom facilities. They were introduced to Seartec’s latest technology offerings, which include an interactive projector display set to transform the way classrooms and meetings are conducted.

The Winelands Branch is led by Branch Manager Adrian Venter and supported by a dedicated team, delivering tailored print and office automation solutions to schools and businesses.

The core focus is on addressing common pain points such as high costs, restrictive long-term contracts, and operational downtime.

Guests didn’t leave empty-handed, receiving curated Seartec swag bags on departure, put together by Seartec’s marketing team.
