The Athlone Institute Bursary Project Fund (AIBPROF) applications are open with a new set of criteria.
“AIBPROF heard the hearts of students who want to study part-time and do post-graduate studies and have extended the criteria to include diploma and certificate courses. This is to increase and intensify the impact of a well-educated workforce” said Gail Jacobs, AIBPROF Chairperson.
Rev Christopher Swartz, chairperson of the Athlone Institute Trust (AIT), concurred with Rev Denver Heugh, who with great excitement and a broad smile, said: “Now I am happy because we are doing the right thing for our students”.
The new criteria will accommodate more students who are eager to follow their career path. In 2022, the AIT earmarked R600 000 and at their next meeting will confirm the bursary allocation amount for 2023.
