Jayle-Rose Ringquest (10) from Ebenezer Primary School has recently been named as the Cape Winelands Karate Junior Sportswoman of the year. She also participated in the Cape Winelands Karate trials for 2020 on 19 October in Paarl, where she won a gold medal for Kumite and silver for the Kata. She will be travelling to Oudtshoorn at the end of November as a member of the Cape Winelands Karate team to participate in the Western Cape Karate trials.
