ST FRANCIS BAY – Regular marketgoers who feel as though they have “been there, done that” can look forward to a fresh, upmarket twist on artisanal fairs when Trueblue Makers hits St Francis Bay from 16 to 23 December.

This exclusive event will showcase the work of 30 talented and hand-picked designers, artisans and makers from across South Africa, many of whom have never shown their products in St Francis Bay.

According to organiser Elsje Smuts, the intention is to create a high-end gathering of creatives that features limited collections with an emphasis on quality, exclusivity, and bespoke design.

“It’s really exciting to be able to bring something fresh like this to residents and holiday makers of St Francis Bay,” said Smuts, adding that the beautiful River Club would provide a fitting backdrop for the pop-up event.

“The exhibitors appear by invitation only. Visitors will know many of them – Igoti Decor, Stonecamp Leather, Dear Diary ZA, and Willemijn Murray – from their beautiful Instagram profiles, but now they will be able to see and buy their products in real life.”

On offer will be a selection of previously unseen delights ranging from clothing, jewellery, and luxury leather goods to natural skincare, confectionery, homeware, and ceramics.

Smuts, who is also the organiser behind the annual Christmas in the Home market hosted in Gqeberha, said the luxury items would be displayed in a shop-style set-up instead of traditional stalls, with a central pay point for added shopping convenience.

This exclusive pop-up runs from Tuesday 16 December to Tuesday 23 December, from 10:00 to 17:00 daily.
