The body of a woman was found in a parked vehicle on the side of the road, on the R102, close to Jeffrey’s Bay, on Thursday, April 28, has been identified as Anna Magrieta Gouws (69).
She had a gunshot wound to her upper body.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli, said that the woman’s body was recovered inside a white Ford Bantam bakkie at approximately 12:30.
“The deceased was declared dead at the scene. No firearm was found at the scene,” he said.
