The body of a woman was found in a parked vehicle on the side of the road on the R102 close to Jeffrey’s Bay on Thursday, April 28.
She had a gunshot wound to her upper body.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli, said that the woman’s body was recovered inside a white Ford Bantam bakkie at approximately 12:30. “The deceased was declared dead at the scene. The was no firearm found at the scene,” he said.
“The name of the deceased is being withheld until her next-of-kin can formally identify her body,” he added.
