Six u/14 weightlifters from the Kouga District were selected to represent the Eastern Cape at the South African Championships in Stellenbosch in the Western Cape this past weekend.
The young athletes did the region more than proud, and each returned with medals, and four were crowned South African Champions in their weight categories.
Results are as follows:
- Ruwellyn Bantom – Gold
- Jason Hallem – Silver
- Faith Arries – Gold
- Tyler Karolisin – Gold
- Isaih Miggels – Gold
- Ezra Karolisin – Bronze
