The Komani (Queenstown) Town Hall went up in flames last night.
According to Lonwabo Kowa, spokesperson for the Enoch Mgijima Municipality, the fire was reported on Friday evening, January 28 around 23:00.
“The building was burnt down. We will be meeting at 09:00 (January 29) to gather all facts and issue a statement,” Kowa said.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
