Adami’s has been part of the Cradock community since 1904, when R. Adami first laid the
foundation for what would become one of the region’s most enduring businesses. Now, four
generations later, that legacy lives on, shaped by over a century of dedication, resilience, and
an unwavering commitment to the people it serves.
More than a business
For 113 years, Adami’s has stood alongside families, traders, and local businesses, not only
providing quality products, but building relationships grounded in trust, consistency, and a
deep understanding of community needs. It is a business that has grown with its people,
becoming part of everyday life across Cradock and beyond.
Serving communities across the region
Today, that legacy extends far wider. With a team of over 100 dedicated staff, a separate
warehouse, fleet, and delivery operation, and a seamless system of telesales supported by
weekly deliveries, Adami’s serves not only Cradock but a network of surrounding towns.
From Noupoort, Middelburg, Steynsburg, Hofmeyr, Tarkastad, Mortimer, Pearston, Graaff-
Reinet, Somerset East, Bedford, and Alice, Adami’s continues to connect communities and
support local economies.

Investing in people
More than a distributor, Adami’s is a partner to the region, contributing to livelihoods,
investing in skills development through a Learnership programme in partnership with the
SETA, and supporting a variety of local sports initiatives within the community. Its growth
has never been just about expansion; it has always been about strengthening the
communities that have supported it for generations.
Honouring the past and embracing the future.
As markets evolve and customer needs grow, Adami’s continues to strengthen its offering,
honouring its past while embracing the future. This next chapter reflects that continued
commitment: to grow, to adapt, and to serve with even greater strength, while staying true
to the values that have defined the business for over a century.
Stay connected
This is more than a business story.
It is a story of legacy. Of community. Of trust carried forward.
Stay connected with Adami’s.
